The Sodus Central School District Board of Education is pleased to share an update regarding the search for our next Superintendent of Schools.
We were fortunate to attract a strong and highly qualified pool of applicants for this important leadership position. Following an extensive review process, the Board conducted first-round interviews this past week and has identified the finalists who will advance to a second round of interviews next week.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the students, staff, families, and community members who contributed to the development of the superintendent candidate profile. Your feedback and insights have been instrumental in guiding the search process and ensuring that we identify a leader whose experience, vision, and values align with the needs and priorities of the Sodus Central School District.
The Board remains committed to a thorough and thoughtful selection process. We anticipate selecting a successful candidate by early July and will share an announcement with the community as soon as possible following the completion of contract negotiations.
