Distraction-Free Learning
New York State requires all school districts to publish an annual report summarizing the enforcement of their Board of Education Policy supporting Distraction-Free Schools.
This policy is designed to support students' focus and engagement during the school day, by minimizing digital distractions. Devices must be stored in designated locations in the student's school building. Exceptions for this policy can be approved for specific educational purposes, health monitoring needs, emergencies, translation support, or accommodations outlined in a student's IEP or 504 plan.
Parents or guardians who wish to contact their student during the school day can do so by calling the school's main office:
Elementary School: (315) 483-5282
Intermediate School: (315) 483-5242
Jr./Sr. High School: (315) 483-5280
