Capital Improvement Project Vote

Dear District Residents,

The Sodus CSD is committed to maintaining and improving our currant facilities so that the children and families of Sodus are well served in future years. After much review and planning, the Sodus Central School District Board of Education is presenting a capital improvement project for voter consideration on October 29, 2019. The project has been developed through input from District stakeholders. The Board believes this project will address a variety of needs and enhancements to our facilities that will vastly improve the safety and accessibility of our buildings.

In addition to improving facilities, the Board is very aware of the financial impact a large project can have on a community. The Board believes this project provides for the needs of the District while taking full advantage of State Building Aid. The Project Generally Includes the Following:

 Accessibility - Renovation of toilet rooms at all buildings to modernize and make accessible

 Infrastructure - Boiler replacement in all school buildings - Roadway paving

 Transportation Facility - Existing bus garage roof replacement, conversion to small equipment storage - New bus garage - Replace fueling island We hope you will be able to attend one of our scheduled public information sessions.

If you are unable to attend and have questions, please contact Nelson Kise, Superintendent, at 315-483-5201 or Steve Moore, Business Administrator, at 315- 483-5283.
