Dear Parent or Guardian:
We are pleased to inform you that Sodus Elementary, Sodus Intermediate and Sodus Jr./Sr. high School will be implementing a meal certification option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the 2022-2023 school year.
What does this mean for your child(ren) attending the school(s) identified above?
All students enrolled at Sodus Central School District are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2022-2023 school year, whether you would normally qualify or not. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee, however, our school district participates in many grant-funded programs, such as Universal Pre-K and 21st Century Learning Program, among many others, and relies on income information to be able to continue receiving these grant funds. In order for our District to qualify for continued funding of these programs and others, please fill out the Community Eligibility Provision Household Income Eligibility Form and return it to my attention.
Thank you in advance for completing the form, and if you have any further questions, please contact me at (315) 483-5283.
Sincerely,
Steven K. Moore Business Administrator
