A public hearing will be held by the Sodus Central School District on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Sodus Intermediate School Cafeteria, 54 Mill St, Sodus, NY 14551, to hear comments pertaining to a plan for the expenditure of Foundation Aid increases. Section 10-d of part A of chapter 56 of the laws of 2021, as amended by ยง5-b of part A of chapter 56 of the laws of 2022, requires school districts receiving a foundation aid increase of more than 10% to create a plan on how these funds will be used to address student performance and need. This plan is required in advance of the 2023-24 school year.
These plans must be adopted by the Board of Education by July 1.
